My 1877 Indian Head Cent from Denver ANA

I drove out to the Denver coin show looking for 3 coins. Today I can thank Rick Snow for this fine looking 1877 IHC. I also want to thank board members for their advice to buy a mint state coin rather than proof 1877. The only other Indians that I own were from my days as a paper boy in the late 60's.

Looks clean, congrats and nice job.
Fine looking coin!
It looks beautiful and also a whole bunch nicer than the assigned grade.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Funny, I opened this thread and didn't even see the bottom half of the obverse and said, "who this is Rick Snow quality right here." ... only to scroll down and see the Eagle Eye sticker
That is a very beautiful Indian cent
Nice coin!
Congratulations on the new addition to your set.
That's a beautiful coin. Hope you had as much luck finding the other 2 you were looking for. Let's see some pictures.
Very beautiful coin!

Very nice coin!
That has to be one of the nicest 63s that I have ever seen. Fantastic example, congrats!

That's sharp looking coin. I love the color
I'm not a copper kind of guy, but I can say that you have a beautiful coin there...
'dude
I too hope someday to add a '77 Indian just like this to my collection.
Fantastic Indian! I've been drooling over that one and had it saved on my EBay watchlist. Guess I'll have to remove it. Congrats!
That's Gorgeous. Were this a GTG I would have gone higher than a 63!
Very nice indeed! Rick is a great guy to work with!

That coin is sweet. Now if you can peel that crazy sticker off and get the green one on there, you really have something! (KIDDING!)
Man, if you had put that up as a GTG, you would have gotten a whole lot of 65 guesses!
Congrats!
Very nice , even color, I really like this one
Beautiful!
Just one question....... with all the high-quality lettering & details, what accounts for the faint bottom half of the "N" in "ONE" and the top half of the "N" in "CENT" on the reverse? Die or press issue?
Absolutely solid ms63!!

Not sure what's holding her back.

Super attractive and very solid for the grade. Very easy to see how it deserved the "Eagle Eye" approval also.
The images are from Rick Snow's Eagle Eye gallery. They're downloadable which is really appreciated.
You made the right choice, Tom. You'll not regret it. Very sweet.
Lance.
Great coin for the grade. Well done!
I really like it.
I like my vf35 but yours, obviously, blows it away!
I do see some MS ones I don't like, but I really think you picked out a super nice one!
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Wow, that coin looks outstanding! Good job.
That is a really nice 1877 Indian Cent regardless of the grade. It's hard to figure out why that coin doesn't have a "+" on it. I suppose that the Rick Snow sticker is better than a "+." It is in my opinion anyway.
beautiful coin

Awesome '77, and congrats on your purchase!
Beautiful coin !
Boy, you were lucky as a paperboy. I was also a paperboy in the late 60's. I got a couple of Buffalo nickels, standing quarters, of course silver.....but never an Indian cent !!
A very nice specimen. The Indian Cent is one of my favorite coins to collect. I happen to own a 1877 PCGS64RB example. It is a jewel in my collection. The one you bought is a seriously clean example! Congratulations!
I was thinking 64 until I got down to the pic with the grade.
That is one gorgeous IHC... and the Eagle Eye stamp of approval.... Top notch coin... Congratulations on a really nice acquisition....Cheers, RickO
Fantastic!
I just received my 1877 IHC from the ANA show in the mail. Rick Snow was kind enough to ship it for me. I'm really pleased to have it in hand!
Very very nice, nothing not to like
