Fake 1925 Peace Dollar

I saw this seller on eBay with loads of stock photos for peace dollars. I bough one for just under $14 to see what it was. Total fake, the reverse is especially bad. I didn't do a metal test but it isn't magnetic. I requested a return and the seller refunded my money and told me to keep the coin. I feel like he is scamming people and makes his money on those who keep the fakes and don't ask for returns. Just wanted to post this as a heads up and here are the images along with a link to the seller's sold listings.

The eagle looks like he has three eyes. I guess when you are crooked coin, you need that many to check out what's behind you.

That one is pretty bad, at least they copied a date that exists. I have a bogus American Silver Eagle that is dated 1906!

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I like the "funky" rays and the eagle's 2-eyes on the right side of its head. But too bad it's missing the "CC" mintmark.

I guess the "O" in one dollar distracted me too much. I didn't even see the three eyes!

Make sure you give feedback that says "received counterfeit coin" so that others are warned.

Appears to be cast too. Look below the "L" on the reverse- you will see a raised lump of metal in the field, and also between the rays and "M." You can see other lumps; but, those really jump out.

    Thanks for sharing.

@derryb I'll be sure to do that.
@PocketArt no problem, I just wanted to let others see a counterfeit example so they can be avoided.

One buyer states in negative feedback that coins are silver coated brass

This is a fairly deceptive fake and would fool a lot of collectors. How closely do you look at a circa Peace dollar
anyway. Bet he is making a nice buck selling these
