Russia, North Korea, Iran and China, all of them rogue nations to one degree or the other. The one I have the hardest time understanding are the Chinese. In many ways they are getting it together and are an emerging world economic power. Yet they persist in tinpot country behavior. It's a reflection of a ongoing desire to control other human beings which seems to be in our DNA, although it's never been high on my list of lifetime goals.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Nah, to be safe use a QR Barcode scanner app to verify PCGS, NGC, ANACS and ICG holders.

I don't have a scanner but does yours scan the barcode off your monitor?

No, That's a much bigger swamp than the certified market if the coin in question amounts to anything.

Yes, it does read barcodes off the computer monitor. I use my android phone, but, you can get a free barcode reader for your computer.monitor. I'll PM some options.

There are counterfeit operations from many, many countries... PCGS is trying very hard to stay ahead of them and doing well... the barcode scanner is a great idea by the way. Cheers, RickO
