Obviously melt would be ideal but in that condition I would be willing to pay better. I think silver is fairly cheap right now and would not be too concerned paying a premium for better quality 90% Walkers. If 12x is melt... I'd feel OK with 14-15 times face.
One might pay a tiny premium above melt for rolls of these coins in AU-58, but not much.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
With silver low, and likely going a tad lower, I would not go much above melt. If you have a chance to view the coins prior, and think there may be a couple of good one's, well, you be the judge. Cheers, RickO

Don't ask, buy 'em.
$600 would be doing average of eBay at the right time.
12x for that quality? I must be shopping in the wrong places as that is current melt.

Shop around on eBay. With the 10% bucks deal, they are cheaper yet. AU quality means nothing on this coin in those dates.
I wouldn't want to get buried. I'd stick around melt, too.
