I suggest you don't do business with this eBay seller

cathyhorner16. Filthy mouth, extremely poor attitude. If you ran into even the slightest of issue it would be your fault, not hers.
I didn't even poke and say anything provoking and she went off like a sailor who's been out of port for a year. I highly doubt it's a woman as the names suggests.
Anyone who cares to know more, I will gladly share with you the messages and let you judge for yourself.
For now please take my advice and spare yourself of the drama with this woman (giving benefit of the doubt on that).
Consider yourself warned.

Thanks for the warning. eBay does require a lot of caution since it seems to attract not only scammers but people totally lacking in social skills.

Turns out my instinct was right, this is a man, actually a punk. Not a single person has stuck up for him. Some Testimony of others since posting this in some other groups:

"Cathy Horner" is actually Travis Marchant in West Virginia. He's an absolute horrible person to deal with and has gone through countless usernames since his other keep getting banned. Do not ever buy from this low life or allow him to bid. I've had to relist countless times due to non-payment."

"My understanding is it's somehow related to Travis Merchant who has ripped a collector friend of my wife's off for over $5000 (didn't send USSC Cancelled and others after ppff.) Story is selling for Travis while Travis and His wife are in Georgia at Cancer center due to Travis's wife's cancer. I don't have a clue what is true but definitely would not trade or non fee for sure"

" I've heard all kinds of stories. He was in a car accident, his wife has cancer, he's on the road driving his truck for work. Total piece of work."

Q: What are some of the other usernames if you can recall?
A: Only one I recall was Trav317 (numbers might be wrong).

"I don't know what's up. That one situation with the ppff payment and non receiving of $5500 worth of bars is legit. Have not heard if that was finally fixed. I know he has bought a bunch of items from me over the years. I never had any problems with him paying. He usually sent non fee and always prompt and polite. Hopefully whatever that screw up with that $5500 is or will be fixed"

"Travis caused me quite a lot of anguish awhile back. I remember sending Sean a message asking him if he knew who this guy was...yes he did. He used quite a few different usernames and he wouldn't give a correct address. Somehow he'd always convince me to let him pay me directly through PayPal. He even pretended once to be his wife who gave me some sob story about Travis. Of course it took me awhile before I realized I couldn't believe a word he said. Anyway, if he comes up again using a different name I'll let you all know. Hope you are all well."

I have encountered this ebayer. I have never bought anything from this seller, however, he does buy old silver art bars and he has purchased old bars from me. I have read the comments on this thread. I currently do not have this person blocked, however, most of my '70's silver art bar ebay listings are BIN with immediate payment. Doing BIN with immediate payment solves the problem for me with this person. He has haggled me on certain silver art bars but I have declined his offers.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a '70's silver art bar expert but I try my best to play one on the Internet.
