    1798 Style 1 hair, S-164, R4. VF details, damaged. Net grade is subjective, and it will vary from person to person.

    I would not try a net grade... for me, that would be a keeper for display and coin history. Cheers, RickO

    The obverse has sharpness looks like a VF-35 in some places, but the reverse is a lot less. The best parts of the reverse look like Fine. Given the extensive problems, I'd say that the net grade would be Good. For those who think that this is less than a Good, you might take a look at what passes for Good this days. It's rather disappointing.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.     I agree with ricko as I doubt thr TPG would assign a lower grade as opposed to slab it is damaged with VF details.
