Finished a set this weekend

ad4400ad4400 Posts: 2,046 ✭✭✭✭✭

Relative to other sets, my Peace Dollar Date set, all ten pieces, went pretty quickly, even after adding the challenge of making it an OGH set. I started this past holiday season, while killing time at the in-law's over the holidays. After filling the all but the last two in relative short order, the 1934 and 1928 dates were stuck. There were pieces available, but not in the price range I was working with. Over the course of this weekend, the same seller held two short running (best I can tell) auctions that enabled my to snap up both the remaining dates. Hoping I'm not jinxing myself by posting before having them in hand. Here is a link to the set and images of the two NewPs

I loved that 28 for the grade. I was the underbidder. Nice pick up!

Nice Peace Dollars.... I am looking for one, but neglected the search for the last week... projects and holiday has interfered..... a few more days on the project and the search resumes. Cheers, RickO

Congrats on the completion of your set. The OGH thing has become quite popular.

What are your plans with the set now? And what set do you plan on assembling now, if any?

Thanks to all for looking and your comments.

JJS - I plan to enjoy the set as-is for a while. I've longer considered a SLQ date set so that may be my next project.
AUandAG - a CC set sounds interesting. My one Morgan for my type is a CC, recently crossed from IGC to PCGS.
Clark -.... ok, I can take a good spirited ribbing
