If you're talking art bars, the easy answer that comes to mind is known mintage numbers. There are a bunch of interesting rounds to be had but not so much information on numbers minted. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
There is a collector market for both, and it seems that rare bars can command significant collector premiums. I stick with coins.... although I have a few rounds and bars, they were acquired because of interest, not investment. Cheers, RickO

In general yes. However, some rare rounds can demand large premium over spot if available on the market.
I started it out with rounds....then moved on to minted/struck bars.....then poured bars. I collect mostly poured bars now but sometimes add rounds and struck bars in the mix if I find them rare and interesting.

Silver Art Bars appear to have a greater "audience" than Silver Art Rounds. I prefer the Bars.
Yes, and I don't know why.
