My 1902 S Morgan is back from PCGS....

I couldn't be happier with the results!!! I bought this coin for $20 at a pawn and paid $31 to get it graded. From the nick on the reverse rim to soaking in acetone to get rid of the finger print left over from a coin dealer who popped my coin out of the plastic slip, the coin is finally taken care of for good. I had 50/50 mixed opinions on whether this would even grade, in person and online. I'd like to thank everyone for the opinions because I probably wouldn't have sent it in to get it graded! Also, my first choice was ANACS so I'm happy I went with PCGS! Here is the original thread, props to everyone who got it right!! Going to stay in my collection for quite some time. It's my first PCGS graded coin and also the first coin I ever sent in for grading.
I agree with the AU 58. Send them in 5 at a time though. much less expensive and more fun when the get back home.
Hey, congrats!
Nice Morgan you got there.

I'm surprised actually, but I will admit I was wrong.
Or was I....no, they got the grade wrong!
Joking of course.
Hey now

Well that is just great.... so glad you followed up....and glad you sent it in. Congratulations....Cheers, RickO
Great score!
Thanks everyone! I wanted it to full grade soo badly and was hoping for an AU 50. I was ecstatic when my coin dealer flipped it around and it was a 58!
He submitted this coin through a bulk submission in person at the coin show in Florida back in February. Then actually got the coins back earlier than what was expected which was nice! The wait was excruciating haha but well worth it.
For once I was correct on the grading of a Morgan!
good job Spartcom5, can't wait to see your next one!
bob:)
