In the same thought line the team I followed growing up. Sad to say but, buy/keep your Hank Aaron stuff now, he's 86.

Bob Kelly passed away Oct. 25, 2017 RIP
I believe Bob Kelly is still alive. Baseball reference has no death date, Wikipedia has him listed in the "List of oldest living Major League Baseball players", and I can't find any obituaries on line.
Edit to add: The OP has not been active here for a while, so I will delete Crandall and Groth from his list.
I think the OP died in 2017. He was pretty sharp on cards, I think for a while he was editor of SCD. He also used to make custom cards, I think he made me a 1955T Nitschke and a 1955T Ernie Davis. Definitely missed.

He was last active on this board in early February of this year; I hope he is OK

I'm sorry, I meant Bob Lemke who started the list. Sorry for the confusion.
@dennis07 is there a place to find this info as a whole in regards to a particular set or did you just go down the checklist and research each player one at a time? My particular set is the 58 Topps and would like to know this info on it. Thanks.

None that I know of. I have all of this info for my AFL sets, but I had to track it player-by-player.
Todd Tobias - Grateful Collector - I focus on autographed American Football League sets, Fleer & Topps, 1960-1969, and lacrosse cards.

Thanks Todd. I just began doing that a few days ago, one player at a time.
Eddie Robinson has passed, it looks like Bobby Shantz is now the oldest. I believe there are thirteen players still alive from the 1952 Topps set. ETA: Correction, Cloyd Boyer passed September 21 so there are twelve left.

I didn’t mean he was the only one. Just that he is not on the original list, but is still alive. I don’t understand why he was ever removed from it.
Erroneously posted as deceased by the OP on November 14 2017.

Wayne Terwilliger passed away 3 February 2021. RIP.
Del Crandall passed away and can be removed from the list. On a positive note, Willie Mays celebrated his 90th birthday today.
When I saw Mays' picture on the front of espn.com this morning I feared the worst.
Johnny Groth passed away on August 7.

@rbsalezman - thank you for the reminder. I saw that Simmons had passed and thought of this thread, but then later forgot. I've updated the OP.

Looks like 9 players from the 52 T set remain and that matches the number of living Brooklyn Dodgers. Coincidentally, 3 make up 1/3 of both lists.
Still alive as of 12/21/22, turned 95 a couple of months ago.
RIP Dick Groat, former MVP

Somehow Bob Kelly is gone from the original list….
Willie Mays is the "kid" of this group at a spring chicken-ish 91.
Dick Groat off the list last month
Sad. Time is relentless.
It's the singer not the song - Peter Townshend (1972)
Only Bob Kelly is still alive….

I'm not sure I follow. He should be added to the list but he's not the only one still alive from the '52 set.
