1939 Jefferson - doubling on reverse?

I'm really not familiar at all with Jefferson nickels.. what kind of doubling is this on the reverse?
I'm guessing machine doubling, but the metal connecting IVE also makes me wonder what's going on. PMD on that?
Does anyone have a picture of a 1939-P DDR that's pretty smashed up? I have some with very fat letters, and Google only shows them in great states.
Cheers and thanks,
Az.

Look like late die stage and machine doubling. Have you checked here...

Oh great what a fantastic link thank you!
I had come across this RIB too, which I'm sure is just wear. I have much better examples. I'm starting to think my grandfather left this roll of 39-P since there's minor errors (cuds, chips etc) and now that I look at some of the varieties they kinda look like what I've been sifting through.
Is that R just weak and slid away? It's so hard for me to figure these out not just from bad eyesight but boy these 39s sure got used that's for sure.
And a couple look like this.. it's just hits and stuff not DDR006 or 9, right?
And this guy particularly under the B.
It's hard to see always on circulated coins. Especially with wear and damage. I look for die markers or things that help diagnose. Or examine letter shapes. Againnon circulated things it's difficult when minor or heavily worn. Still cool to save. I have rolls of 38-59 circs.
If you enjoyed that link, open this can of worms...

Mostly appears to be wear and hits... although the N on Monticello does 'appear' to have a split serif.... but since nowhere else, likely not. Cheers, RickO
