Results of 2017-D 1c box search

The first thing I noticed was the overall quality of these coins.
Amazing!
If graded as if they were normal Lincoln Cents, 2/3 of the box were 66+/67. Easy.
If graded as to Shield standards, most were 66 or better. There wasn't a dog coin in the lot.
I found no varieties worth mentioning and no errors, but I did find 4 coins that I may submit, as I have a batch going in soon anyway.
2 of the possible submittals have flashy sunglasses-needed PL surfaces and a micro-tick or two, and 2 have beautiful undisturbed satiny luster (which I prefer) but no marks/white spots/distractions.
As you know, the boys in the grading room don't like satiny luster so these 2 will probably end up in 4 holders.

Thanks for the report. The 2500 P's I looked at were not so nice. Maybe a few 66's. I did find some sharp PL ones but they were full of issues.
@Manorcourtman ....Wow.. you searched 2500 P cents? I have one I found in the take a penny box at the local ice cream parlor.... have not seen any others... I do realize you procured rolls, I have not even tried the bank yet...Might do that today... Cheers, RickO
I got my D's at the bank. I just noticed the ends of the rolls the teller had and asked to see one.
Bought a box for $25.
I may get another box tomorrow and try and sell the rolls on eBay.....if there's any interest in them.
