I'm glad to hear that CollectiveCoin.com will continue on, but I wonder what will happen to the feature to sell your coins?
CollectiveCoin was running in the red each month basically because it was free to join and store your pictures and free to sell.
Though I never sold a coin there, the price couldn't be beat. I doubt SB will continue the free selling feature since that is a conflict of interest with their SB auction site.

I must have missed that.
I posted this last December about their shutdown, but didn't know SB had acquired them.
Consolidation is happening all over .. even the coin business.... Merger mania....Cheers, RickO
I doubt it's any kind of a merge, more buying eyeballs at a distressed rate.
Change the ad rotator to the network you are already using, replace half the ads with static ones for your site and redirect the sales feature to the SB site. Hosting it costs you minimal additional to the site you already have.
At which point you get clicks for a fraction of the cost you are paying.
It's like the zombie brands - say Brookstone, Circuit City, etc - still have some name recognition which is what you bought.
