Finally, a decent image for my 24-d buffalo

It will be one of the purchases I remember well. Years ago, at the medium size Annandale VA show. Some construction at the venue had me come in a different entrance, where a dealer I had previously purchased some nice raw type pieces, had the front table in this configuration. Saw this piece and my pulsed raised. Usually I am not one to spend my whole budget the second I walk in, but I had no qualms that day.
Finally got around to sending this to Crazyhounddog. This, with a few other pieces I sent him, and a handful of Truviews in the next couple of weeks will round out my digital album.
As for the piece itself, a tough grade and a tough piece to find eye appealing. This has a great combo of strike and color with good clean surfaces. Comments always welcome.

Nicely struck Buff..... great picture as well.... Cheers, RickO
Nice-looking Buff and great pix from Joe as usual.
Dang, that was purchased raw? Very nice. Looks 63+ all day long.
Very nice buff for sure sharp strike as well!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Very pretty! And also a nice strike from a relatively fresh pair of dies, too. Well done!!
I spent some time eyeballing the mint mark on the coin. Strange as it is I will assume it's a die chip in there but not at all sure what it is. I also agree this Buff was absolutely struck with a fresh pair of dies as my friend Ron has mentioned. In hand this is quite the buffalo nickel. My man Al is no dunce when it come to selecting some seriously beautiful Buffs. Great eye my friend. Gorgeous Buffs!!!!
nice nickel and photo
Nice 24-D, i'll guess 63.
