Woohoo!!! Latest Ebay cherry-picks, grades just posted!!! 1918/7-S SLQ, Trade $1s
Just posted minutes ago. All were won on Ebay in auction format late last year with plenty of "sweating out" expected late final bids that didn't materialize for the most part. All, of course, were unattributed. The 1918/7-S SLQ is clearly the top banana - I was stoked when I won it and even more so now!
7308 1888-O $1 Doubled Die Obverse XF45
7046 1877-S T$1 XF40 “Broken Arrows” A nice, problem free battleship gray example
7038 1875-CC T$1 XF45 “Reverse of 1876”, scarce reverse die
5726 1918/7-S 25C F15 A home run, for sure. $43 from a major Ebay dealer, only one other bidder and I don’t think he realized what it was. I was hoping for F12 but would have been happy with any straight grade…
Cheers! Time for a beer!!!
Here is a poor pic of the SLQ, with die markers circled in red

Someone sure flubbed on that overdate. Nice score!
Nice pick, and thanks for posting the diagnostics. Whenever I see a spectacular find like this- I hop on Ebay looking for the next undiscovered jewel. Somewhat of a fleeting attempt; but, you never know.
Were you actively searching for this piece, or, just stumble across? Cool find!
Thanks. Yes, I have been searching for one for years. This was the first I've found. I've got a number of canned searches I do every day, usually twice or more. It takes lots of time, but every now and then you strike gold!

Wow! This is something you worked hard for so congrats on the effort- I check time to time on a few varieties but I haven't taken a dedicated, or, disciplined approach as you have. Just a random afterthought really. Good to see what determination can reward! Good job, and super awesome!!!!!
Congrats mbogo

The coin is very cool but that error having the die markers like it does make it extra cool IMO.
