It's mechanical/ejection/shelf doubling,
I'm not an expert so I will learn from those here that are
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
It's mechanical doubling because the doubled parts look like a shelf without any rounded look. Sorry it's not better. I was fooled by this too back in the mid 1990s.
Mechanical doubling....no split serifs.
Not die doubling.
This one's not questionable - strike doubling for sure.

Strike doubling.... or shelf doubling... etc., etc., .... Well worth keeping though as a great example for teaching... Cheers, RickO
Good old MD.
Mechanical doubling. The mintmark would not be doubled on a genuine doubled die pre-1995.
