    63
Not big on the copper spots and the rim bumps or I think it would go 64

I'd guess 64, copper spots may hold it back from a 65.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

I will go 64 but I would not want it because of the spots.

MS64. Copper spots don't change the grade. CAC often stickers spotted gold coins, attesting to their originality.

This is why grading by pictures can be tricky! It graded Unc details cleaned. I paid cleaned price for it, and really only bought it because I looked up the pictures first. I literally cannot see any signs of a cleaning in the pictures, and at first I could not in hand either. After looking at it under a loupe, VERY light lines are visible when the light hits it in one spot, so I guess it has been very lightly wiped. I think if it was raw, I probably would have been fooled by it too.

MS-63. It looks to be quite smooth, but it's not flashy. The grading on these tends to be conservative.

Put me in the "send it in again" crowd.

It is in a secure holder... would that prevent it from ever grading with pcgs? The thought has crossed my mind to send it to ngc.

Id say it is a 63 if it made it into a problem free holder. In basal value it has $147 in gold in it. An Unc details coin would sell for between $200-$220 from the looks of it. A 63 is worth about $350-$400. I guess I'd just accept it for what it is and sell it if the details grading bothers you vs. putting more money into it. Just my opinion.
