Guilty . Star City Homer has become my alter ego over there for the sets--Homer being my ridiculous dog. His adoption kennel is Star City Greyhounds.

The set is a good lesson in what happens when you fail at the One From Every Country collection because it turns out you can't get past the letter 'A' because you can't pick just ONE.

Lions and 'BBL'* were a popular around here a decade+ ago and that is how the lion coin ended up on my radar. To counter the BBLs that were running rampant I decided that we needed a little balance with the 'NG'** and/or 'NGoH'*** theme, seeing as I'm vastly outnumbered here.

Not only was Albania pretty cool with those nice Italian designs, it had an interesting history AND took care of NG.

*BBL = 'bare breasted ladies'
**NG = 'nekkid guy'
***NGoH = 'nekkid guy on a horse'

Turns out there really is ONE coin that fulfills both NG and Lion, but picking just one coin for an OFEC defeated me. I still haven't kept at the OFEC, though I pretend to work on it once in awhile.

And, those aren't even all of them. Not quite as historical as many other collections, but it turned out to be a pretty fun way to amuse myself over a decade when life and work only allowed so much time for 'mere coins'.

Is she modest or is she modest? She didn't even bother to post it. One thing I can tell you from personal experience, is that it's an achievement to locate most of the coins in this set in unc, let alone in choice and very choice unc. And all the images are taken by Cathy herself!

I wish I'd taken those! My photos are getting better, but not quite that good. Those are Todd's from BluCC. I swapped out the background is all. Thank you all for the kind words . I get a few words 'in real life', but 'kind' is not quite what they are .
