Thanks Kevin and Jbrules. I've had my eye on collecting the '55 All American set for some time now. I've mostly been a baseball card guy throughout the years but I'm all in on them now. Now that I have some cards, both raw and graded, It's one of the best all time sets in card collecting in my opinion.
Very nice Dryden. That year is so hard to find with decent centering. It seems to me at least with the cards from that set that I search for that it is always skewed to the left even to the point where the stick is right on the edge. Nice card!
Very Nice Pistol! Am I missing something on the grade? Centering looks right on and the corners only show the slightest of a touch on 3. What the ?!&@)!
LOTSOS, Thanks. I think it would look just fine in PSA 7 holder. If you look just above his shoulders you can see what looks to be a print issue of some kind. Maybe that is what kept it from being in a 7 holder.

Agree on the Pistol Pete. Shows a lot better than a six.
A few more pick-ups - the Robinson was a Christmas present but did not arrive until January. The Williams was a way for me to spend some Ebay bucks without breaking the bank and the Fox was a pick-up from a collector friend.
Finally picked up the last basketball wrapper I needed to complete a high grade 1969-1980 Topps run. 1973 is a tougher year than I initially thought. Definitely the toughest years are 1971 and 1973, while 1972 is one of the easiest. Just a function of what unopened finds have turned up I suppose.

A PINK pickup from December and freshly back from PSA in a new holder and resulting new PWCC Cert.
Did you have the card reviewed by PSA for a bump? It has a new PWCC high end certification number...how did you receive a new number from PWCC? When I had PSA review and the card did not bump...PWCC retagged it w/same number. BTW...beautiful card!
Great Mantle and that Superman is Super Centered - congrats on both pickups!! Every time I see a nice Superman I want one for my collection.
Mintonlypls - I did try to bump but no luck. While the card was still at PSA I had it re-holdered. I then contacted Brent with pics showing the card re-holdered and was issued the new PWCC Cert. When it comes to opening up a card from a shipment package, this one was probably one of the most satisfying. Pound for Pound as an 8.5 it looked more like a 9 or 10 when I first laid eyes on it. Its a stunner in person and looks better than some 9's or 10's vintage cards that I have or have seen when looking around. Very happy with the card and a great addition to my long term collection.
I'm super stoked to get this in hand, but it's my first Topps Fun Bag and it's one I don't think I've ever seen before. 1977 Fun Bag with 7 packs of 76 Topps FB, 3 packs of 76-77 Topps BK and to boot (which I had no idea about, thanks PaulMaul) it has 4 Topps Wacky Packages 16th Series packs. Still not sure if I'm going to leave "as is" or open it for the packs, but that's a good dilemma to have!

My daughter and I are one step closer to finishing our 1974/75 Topps hockey set in NM/MT condition.

Thanks Kevin. We still have 3 cards to go (28 - Bucyk, 161 - Cherry, and 261 - Bowman). The Dryden was really tough to find centered.
This arrived today in the mail. I have been looking for a long time to find one with decent centering.

That is so impressive...thanks for sharing.
Finally landed the Holy Grail of the 1967 set. Luckily grabbed it on an 8% EBAY bucks day!
I've been hitting dead end with new signed 52 topps, so I have been adding a few signed variations.

Used the special code + ebay bucks and picked up this.

Now that is one heckuva Hoot. Grats.
Awesome looking Gibson!!
just arrived yesterday
Great cards guys! Love that AA Four Horseman, and the Wilt, well, what can I say that hasn't already been? Just fantastic!
One more step towards the finish line!

UFFDAH...whether an 8.5 or 9 or 10...it is pure eye candy! Stunning card...
As they would say on Wicked Tuna that Gibby is a "screamah" - wow, what a sweet card.

Beautiful cards in this thread. I added four more items. Sort of all over the place, just picked up a few things that caught my eye.

Spin - Awesome Gem Jordan!! That Winfield Rookie Auto is pretty cool and on a great looking card to boot!! NICE !!
I am normally more into Vintage but did add these moderns that caught my attention this month.
