I going, but I'm not thrilled about it. Like many Florida residents, you like one coast or the other, and are not thrilled with the one that isn't your favorite. For me it's a four hour drive plus the east coast traffic. YUK! :s

I'll be there. Raeleen too. I'm also looking forward to the NY show the following week (usually they are the same dates so I've always gone to FUN only).

Is this show better or worse than ten years ago to those that go yearly? I have always wanted to go and a lot of my friends used to goes years ago and kind of quit going in recent years. ( I suspect it has more to do with age now with them as they are getting up into the 80's. I am thinking a 1500 mile road trip might cure the Jan cold blues for me and the wife.

Yes, it is a very long drive. Think of the warm weather and thousands of coins. You will not be sorry that you made the trip.

I was thinking of it but my rule for going to shows has long since been economic, whether it would be advantageous in doing profitable business, not having a "good time", for which the FUN show is well known. Sunshine state, nice breathable air, people in good moods. One of the best of the year. I recommended a guy with some rare coins to go.

I'll be there! I'll be at the show Thrusday and Friday, maybe Satiurday morning. Since I've never been to Ft. Lauderdale, I'm going to do what I always do... arrive a day or 2 early and do the tourist thing. I can't remember who, but someone here once called me the Ultimate Numismatic Tourist!

FUN and NYINC for me. Last year, the shows ran against each other and I had to fly back and forth twice during the week. This year should be much more productive and enjoyable!

FUN and NYINC had been concurrent a few years running, if I recall. I'll be at FUN Thursday afternoon through Saturday. Listen for announcements for drawings for silver dollars. I'll be at that table (which may change day-to-day). Come to VAM Thing XIV at 4:15 Friday for some neat presentations and a chance to win more stuff.
