So how would I go about requesting a picture?

I would drop Phil a line. He has "activated" several "Secure" images that dropped off the radar.

I am not sure if this email is still active; photograph@collectors.com

Might be just a delay due to overload..... I agree with the contact process.... Cheers, RickO

Calling cust serv might be a better way

If it is a newly entombed coin, there may be a delay

    There may be an oversight.

    Call either way.

I have had them take months before.

  • jwittenjwitten Posts: 5,235 ✭✭✭✭✭

Well I took a chance and bought it last night. Hopefully the pictures turned out pretty nice!

Just got off the phone with PCGS and they said they could not confirm it has had pictures, so they might have to have me send it back in. They are going to check with the imaging department and get back to me.

Cert# 82196861 - 82196908 all appear to be for the same type of coin.
I jumped around checking the numbers, so I didn't check everyone.
    Most have Trueviews.
The cert# after yours has a Trueview, there are a a couple others before yours that also don't have a Trueview.

Here is the coin after yours.
    pcgs.com/cert/82196867

It looked like gold, so I had to google it, to find out it a gold/silver mix.
    3.04 gr, 0.223 gold/0.777 silver (mixed)

    Nice looking coin.

Ya, the one I bought is pretty much the same type. It is supposed to have a little toning to it, and the seller pictures were not great, so I was hoping to have the trueview as well.
