No .... have not collected these... and this one does not change that position. Cheers, RickO
Decent series ...not so decent example. Still have a sub and already got the order number.
Collect the series, I agree some designs are much better than others, coins are generally well struck.
I've subscribed since the beginning. Fun was to get some silver. Some, such as the HI one, have appreciated nicely.
I only "accumulate" the bullion hockey pucks and agree that some designs are exceptional...the Ft Moultrie/Sumter is not one of them.
I have been getting a tube of each bullion issue as my silver play....started last year after switching from ASE rolls
Every order should be this easy...

Yeah, the only design I really liked this year was the TR.
Next year looks to be just as bleak...
I don't get the pricing. How can you buy these on eBay for significantly less than the mint's price?

There are two types - the bullion variety sold by Mint distributors are much closer to bullion pricing, while the collector variety are only sold by the Mint and they have a significant Mint markup.
I knew it would happen.
There are two versions.
-- bullion: http://www.apmex.com/product/93726/2016-5-oz-silver-atb-theodore-roosevelt-national-park-nd
-- uncirculated: http://catalog.usmint.gov/theodore-roosevelt-national-park-2016-uncirculated-five-ounce-silver-coin-16AM.html?cgid=null&q=5%20oz&navid=search#q=5+oz&start=1
The uncirculated version has a "P" mintmark. Bullion has no mintmark. And there are differences in finish & handling.

This will be number 35 in the series of 50. I started a subscription when they first started and never regret it. This is by far the largest and heaviest legal tender US coin ever produced by the US Mint and every coin has a different design. I always thought collecting a series where every coin has the same exact design to be boring. I never considered these coins to be an investment but as a coin collector I don't mind buying coins just because I like them. That said, some coins in this series have done quite well in the secondary market.

Except i see 21 remaining...
Maybe they are going to include one for Washington, D.C.

It's the same as the state quarter series, a total of 56, for all the 50 states plus DC, Puerto Rico, Samoa, Guam, Marianas and US Virgin Islands.
Good to know. Thanks. Some of the designs for the territories should be interesting.
