Bay precious metals is a subsidiary or retail arm of Coins "N" Things which is one of the largest bullion houses in the country. They might be "self slabbing" but they are not assigning a grade to it. Sealing it protects the coin and one could safely assume that the coin is guareteed authentic by the company selling it. Also, having it in a slab type case makes it easy for them to add the co-branding label with eBay.
I have seen a few other slabs with the ebay logo, I believe. Also, just to stir the pot, I've thought about messaging the seller and asking if he has any "Merry Christmas" ones.... hehe

My guess is yes.
Bay Precious Metals is a major bullion dealer on eBay, so I guess they can afford to pony up for some special advertising.
There was an article in coin world about eBay branding

Huh, I was under the impression that this was a PCGS slab but I now see it isn't ☹️️

I guess PCGS does not own the injection mold to make that slab anymore.
That slab does not appear to have any similarity to any generation of PCGS slab.
Please cite the example that you think is similar

I believe, they were also the co brand seller for the silver 10 oz RCM bar with the eBay logo on it.
