AT or NT on Ebay

Looking at this seller's material and lots of the items look similar. Anyone have any experience or thoughts?

There is more than one thread about this seller, and none of it is good
Just ran across this seller the other day. Seems to have a lot of interesting toned TPG slabbed Morgan and Peace dollars. I've never really seen Peace dollars tone like those slabbed coins before....
That is because they are being gassed in the holder. In another thread, someone found the certs containing white Peace dollars and then toned with the same cert # later in another ebay auction.
yuk comes to mind on these "quote" toned coins

If collectors continue to value environmental damage, the market will supply it - and at premium prices. Cheers, RickO
In the past, it seemed like the gassing of slabs was stopped.
Is there anything that can be done about these now?
It seems like these can hurt both the brand and collecting.
I'm glad threads like these are started as it shows us all, especially the unaware, examples of what to look for and avoid in coinage toning. A good primer.
If carbon spots suddenly became all the rage with collectors, the market would be flooded with them....if fingerprints became desirable, they would be found in every venue.... The market will supply what the collectors will pay for.... Cheers, RickO
Yuck

lol, God I hope he/she never sells a coin.
without a doubt the coins shown are AT....beware if its to much electric blue or bright any color more then likley AT.question if you put silver coins in th e very old 2x2 mailla coin envelopes do you still call that NT or AT
You got that right, Ricko!
This PCGS toned Kennedy is on the block now. How does it look?
Wouldn't PCGS be concerned about this practice ??
I also think he's juicing the pics a bit.

AT...
But now he's also selling NT slabbed coins next to the AT stuff to make it look credible to the untrained eye.
did you read the description? they post premium value ->
Current Book Value Of this Coin Without Toning: $18.00
•Premium Value Added For The Quality Of Toning Present On This Coin: $150.00
•Current Value Of This Coin With Toning Included: $168.00
Interestiing web site. Most are AT, some in PCGS holders might be NT. But the following coin, 3 available, is nice:
Prices are somewhat reasonable if you have to have a wildly toned coin........

That's actually gilded by Australian artist Michael Silberman, not toned. These can be paired with a version where the devices are gilded.
Would pcgs state this has been buffed?
