If you have them for sale, then this needs to be put into the monthly Buy Sell Trade thread

I like the Homestake bar. Homestake silver seems to be very hard to come. This was a gold miner and silver was a by product. They just poured it into molds and didn't bother trying to make the weights exact. It's the usual to see odd weights. I think if there is such a bar that weighs exact (5.00, 10.00 so on ) it was an accident. I've only been able to buy one in the last 12 years (1983 32.19 oz). I have seen more but none for sale.

Homestake also had a refinery that would buy scrap from public, so not all of the silver was from the mine.

They're out there, but premiums are quite high these days, not sure if the ask prices really get paid. Most sitting on sidelines.

The coolest bar in the group by far, IMO

Being in the same region of the country as the Homestake Mine, I tend to find 1 a year. They always go on eBay.

It's funny how this thread evolved into spam all of a sudden. Please take your buy-sell offers to the buy-sell thread or to the buy-sell forum. Thanks.

In defense of the OP, it's not his fault. The problem is another user dredging up an old thread once again (check the post dates). It's one of my pet peeves. Unless there is something new to add to the subject matter, LET OLD THREADS DIE!!!

Those you have aren't high end bars and since the high end has fallen, more importantly your assessment on 4-5x over melt is in error, not one of those bars is worth that or even close to it...

pictured bars are a buck over, heck you paid under, be happy, but the hunt for the buyer paying more maybe tedious...
