Regarding new user

Hi! I have a buddy whose trying to post but he isn't able after creating an account. He's a huge collector and would like to participate in discussions. Sorry if I posted this in wrong spot but if someone can help us we would greatly appreciate it!

did the new account require a verification/activation email?

is he sure he is logged in.

no one else at that ip has an account?

When I recently registered, I could not post until I received a approval/verification email from PCGS. It took 5 days after I registered to get the PCGS approval email.
