Any Halloween themed numismatic items out there?

I trot this one out every year. Orange and black with a touch of purple. Old PCI holdered coin.

Probably as close to orange as I have....

As I reflect on the theme of this thread, I cannot recall ever seeing a coin with a pumpkin on it.... However, a Susan B. Anthony with orange tarnish would certainly be a Halloween coin.......

A member posted this a few years ago, and I copied it. Enjoy.
Where's that token with the witch?
Looks likes she's skewered a hotdog.

For Halloween, how about a Zombucks ("Currency of the Apocalypse")?
Not exactly a numismatic... maybe a semi-numi, based on its premium in the secondary market.
I also have a bunch of a copper version that I give to zombie-like trick-or-treaters. No worries, they get candy too.

This one reminds me of pumpkin pie.
The bottom line of my accounting would scare the bejeebers out of most of you this year. Yikes!

Here's something a friend from my coin club carved a couple years ago:

And here's a popular token w/ a witch on it

Ahh, there's the witch.
Always liked that one.

This is not a U.S. item; it's German; but it fits the category. This is known as "a vampire note." It was issued when the Germans were suffering from hyper inflation during the 1920s which was brought on by the Treaty of Versailles. That treaty forced the Germans to pay high war reparations which wrecked their economy. It was one of the issues that gave Hitler a foothold in German politics and helped start World War II.
If you look at the portrait of the nobleman on this piece you will see another person biting his neck. This was a subtle political statement that met to fly under radar of the victorious Allied Nattions.
See the next post to have a look at the front of the note. The picture function is giving me trouble.
These have a nice "Halloween" look to them
Lot's of Treat's! Thanks!
Love all toned coins !!! Especially that silver eagle in the PCI holder. That one grabes my eye !!!
She used to be mine.
Let me know if you ever want to sell her.
Neat story BillJones. Thanks for sharing it.

Bill's note reminded me of a Canadian note where Queen Elizabeth's hair was styled such that there appeared to be a devil in her hair. Once this note became public knowledge Canada quickly revised the design of this note to remove the apparent devil in her hair. Anyone have a pic of this note?

Bolivar, I didn't think I was going to like it from the description but I do like it. Great coin.
Ah. The 1954 "devil's hair" notes. It is said that the designer was a Satanist designing what we today would call an "Easter egg" into the design.
How about a Freddy Krugerrand?
Here's some orange
Happy Halloween night all!
This belongs to a friend. He had it commisioned and created a cool slab label for it...
