That was targeted... someone knew about the gold.. all the rest was convenient at the time. Someone knew they would be away...this is an acquaintance of one of the three individuals. Cheers, RickO
Agree with ricko, gotta be someone close that either did it or provided info.
I would agree that someone knew something. Regardless, doesn't a $36,000 diamond ring as a Mother's Day gift from a 33-year old daughter strike anyone else as odd?
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
The $36,000 ring was a mother's day present from her daughter, who was living with her mother and boyfriend? That's ridiculous on many levels.
That is sickening!

I suspect daughter is involved either directly or indirectly. Cops should be looking at how daughter "acquired" the high dollar ring.

I'm all for keeping liquid cash and gold at home, but keeping your whole life savings in liquid cash and gold is foolish.

all my liquid assets are in rbob. I've got 5 tankers out back!
While I'll agree that keeping your whole life savings in cash and gold is foolish. I believe it is FAR more foolish to keep it all (or even some) at home without at bare minimum having it in a quality safe. There are only so many places to hide things in a home, and crooks know these spots well.
She would have been better off burying it in her garden
