I won this one in auction last week, and not totally sure which one I have,(this is why it’s so important not to loose Dan’s coin flip certificates), I’m thinking that it’s a PL plated.By the way, Dan, these are “ too kool “, there’s hologram even with the plating, you’re amazing ‼️👍🎯👀‼️‼️
Yea, I wanted that coin,,,,,, I was an underbidder.
Here's a 2016 KOTCT piece noted as "POLISHED" on the ANACS holder.
At first I thought the difference would be mostly visible in the non-plated part, but the plated part seems to exhibit the most differences from the photos.
It's really easy to appreciate both looks. I really love how Dan brings all these approaches to life.

I really love the way these bi-metallic pieces turned out.
Sorry GRANDAM‼️😱😱

The key word is "MIGHT".
I believe the last time any KOCT medals were made was in 2019.
I just received grades on my latest Dan Carr submission,,,,,
I think maybe that Dan is slipping just a little bit,,,,,, I got (2) MS68 grades
But I got (21) MS69's & (20) MS70 grades.
The last (4) coins are 1/10 oz Gold PG & G Rounds (Prospectors Gold & Gems) but Dan made the dies.
I have a few more KOTCT pieces that need new homes. Been too busy to post a bunch more up, but if you're looking for something in particular, just ask.

ICG does a good job on grading and I like the looks of their holder, I don’t like the looks of the other company’s holder who grades these at all. PCGS grades very few of Dan’s coins and I have too many in ICG holders to switch if they started grading them anyway. You can’t beat the price either.
If anyone has tried to contact me recently via email -

Kudos to ZoidMeister ‼️‼️🎯 For selling me this multi-struck 2019 open house ‼️This piece looks better “in hand”than his pictures showed‼️👍🎯This piece is huge‼️( my new favorite child)‼️‼️🎯👀‼️✌️‼️‼️
I went to my first coin show in several years. It was at the Palace station in Las Vegas. Great show. Dropped off some DC and RL pieces and ran into this one. So, I picked it up for what I thought was a good price. Slightly scratched up slab but to tired to clean it now

I'm okay with it but there are a lot of people on the forums and it may be difficult to canvas everyone. I'd hate for anything to happen.

Speaking of the KOCT well I like to keep mine in a 3 ring binder.
So the other day I had this bright idea.
I took a piece of foam board and a page sleeve and made a holder for my 2017 50 mm KOCT token.
I sold this ZoidMeister
a few years ago and bought it back from him.
I won this 1715 Fleet 300th anniversary cob on EBay and love it‼️‼️👍🎯
I believe that only 22 of these were done in satin finish. I was looking at it today when I got it, and thought I found a die crack on both sides, so l magnified it with my scope, and could tell it wasn’t a die crack, it’s a crack actually in the metal. Which makes this one kooler to me. It’s probably the only one like this, these cobs are so kool ‼️‼️👍🎯👀‼️

I'm a huge fan of the Open House Medals because there's such great variety. It would be great for there to be a website to catalog all the different strikes. I have quite a few of the MMOH overstrikes, many of which I've picked up from others and it would be great for us to all share them such a way.
Here are just a few of my favorites.
2013 MMOH 1913 Buffalo Nickel O/S 2001-D Daniel Carr Bessie Coleman Antiqued Concept Dollar - Ex. Daniel Carr
I picked up this one because it's a 2013 Buffalo and it's also on an antiqued Concept Dollar of his! Talk about incredibly rare! Not only is being antiqued unheard of by itself, it's a Dan Carr O/S Dan Carr piece! I also love his Concept Dollars which have designs in consideration by the U.S. Mint. Dan mentioned he made this for himself and kept it for some time before letting it go.
Dan is a master of overstrikes and this is a perfectly positioned overstrike of a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar which is great as it was Kennedy that gave us the mission to go to them moon.
2020 MMOH Carson City Mint Sesquicentennial O/S 1890-CC Morgan Dollar - Ex. Terry Carver
This is a CC Mint Sesquicentennial overstruck on a CC Morgan Dollar. When posted to the forums earlier, this got the following response:
I agree it's a neat piece but I would not have done this to a cc coin...pretty ballsy...
I wonder how many of these CC Mint Sesquicentennials were overstruck on CC coins. This is the only one I've ever seen and was happy to pick it up.
Extremely kool Zoins‼️‼️👍🎯👀‼️‼️Thanks for posting them ‼️‼️‼️I think I like the Bessie Buffalo best, looks like a 2008 1/4 oz fractional gold Buffalo ‼️I think Dan must have a “Philosopher stone”, he can turn any metal into gold ‼️‼️👍🎯👀‼️I’m fact, he can make any metal worth more than gold , by minting just one or two pieces ‼️‼️👍🎯‼️‼️…. ( I want one)‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
