I recently upgraded and for all intent completed my Spanish Milled set with the addition of the 1733-MX/XM 4R ex. Norweb shown below. The date is very rare and this is currently the finest graded Pillar 4R at PCGS.

A "Pillar Dollar" is on my list of things, "I don't really need for my stated collecting goals, but I want one anyway!"
(Fugio, Fuechtwanger, and Bar Cent also on the list....but I'll never own a Bar Cent. *sigh*)
Congratulations Boosibri, you've pieced together a very admirable set.
Perhaps one day, should I get the opportunity, I will form a set for myself, though not as fine as what you have managed to assemble here, as I truly enjoy this type of coinage .
Thank you for sharing.

Now how about adding some colonial gold?
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Now, should I start these to replace my commems?
Enjoyed numismatic conversations with Eric P. Newman, Dave Akers, Jules Reiver, David Davis, Russ Logan, John McCloskey, Kirk Gorman, W. David Perkins...
Excellent set.

You stole that 1R...
Lance.
Excellent set.

Great coin and provenance.
After my other Spanish colonial silver set completion I may add some nice colonial gold.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

How rare is that "MX" mint mark on the 4 Reales? I do not recall ever handling any piece with that variation.
What a gorgeous set! My congratulations!

Gilroy lists this coin as an R5 (1-3 known). Today there are three known in high grade, this coin which shows as the N62 and P63 in the census and there are two others in roughly the same range, the FCC Boyd coin and the E. Ortiz coin. I have not found any other examples in lower grade though it is likely they exist but not in any substantial quantity.
Definitely a cool 1 year type and hopefully one which continues to appreciate.
