Re: AT Commemorative?

I bought the coin that was discussed in this thread, despite the overwhelmingly negative response.
The color is pretty wild (almost too wild), but I don't think it is AT. I'll let you know what PCGS said when I get the coin back. In the meantime, here is a video of the coin taken with my iPhone.
My bathroom has the best lighting for examining coins.

... And 2 pics, for the members who are afraid to click links.

Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
Good Luck.
Commems and Early Type
It's AT but that seems to be independent of whether it will grade. Good luck !
I tend to agree.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
are you planning on sending it in?
Good luck.

I also can't say AT or NT but I like your pics and video although I was nervous about it falling in the sink. Lol.
Good luck.
I thought about handling the coin raw for the video but I realized holding it over the sink without any protection might give someone here a heart attack.
But, I don't know crap about commems and their toning patterns.

I've seen this mottled toning on Lincoln Commems before. Remember a couple at Heritage a while back bringing huge money in 67 and 68. What do you think the technical grade might be on this one?
My hopes are high; MS67 would not surprise me. There are no major contact marks.

I think you have a winner.

Hoard the keys.
No one can say with absolute certainty, that the coin didn't tone naturally. But the TPG's don't need certainty. They only need preponderance of the evidence.

Good luck, I truly hope this one works out for you!
