Opinions on Guardhouse coin holders for raw pieces

What do you think of the "EVA black foam" insert that holds the coin in these holders -- archival? Anyone have experience with them?

I used Intercept Shields forever without any problem.

I believe they are the same material.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if the foam used by guardhouse was essentially the same stuff. Or even exactly the same stuff (repackaged and sold differently.) The intercept shield snap-together 2x2's have a nice brown surface these seem to lack -- but otherwise the same. Anyway, I'll give them a shot with cheaper BU stuff and see what happens.

Foam used by guardhouse is not the same.

Ah. Well anyway, just curious what they will (or won't) do to coins. Hesitant to place anything nice in them without a bit of experimentation first.

Oh well. From the BCW site:

"Made from Die-cut EVA Foam

Note: EVA contains Vinyl, but should not chemically react to coins that are uncoated, unpolished, or undipped."

Vinyl = NO thank you. Search continues.
