One hobby box and 6 retail blasters produced this today. The Bryant is a flip stock version /5 and the only thing to come out of the hobby box. The rest came from the 6 blasters, the Giolito is the traded variation. Needless to say, I have my wife out looking for more retail while I open the last of my sixth and final case of hobby.

Just ordered 3 boxes and first time for Heritage for me. Going to crack them open with my son later this week. As you know I do vintage so what are the key pulls I should look out for - autos obviously but what else? Thank you in advance for the help,
Four sold so far, Keith - three were at $1000 BIN/BO - not sure what the accepted offers were on any of them. The fourth went for $800 BIN.
edit: found a site that helped me figure out what the best offers were on the first three:
* the 23/25 and 20/25 sold for $850
* the 3/25 sold for $900
looks like we can still check accepted best offers by adding the item # after this: http://item.ebay.co.uk/xxxxxxxxxxxx (substitute item number for the x's)

I would recommend going to Beckett.com to take a look. There is so much going on, it's really too much to try and remember. There are traded cards, rookie cards, color swaps, action variations, missing trophy graphics on the front of some, yellow backs, etc. Some players have 3-4 different card variations. Beckett has listed them fairly accurate, although the list is not concise. They have an excel type tab list on their front page to show each type, yet don't mention the gray backs. The past 3-4 years have had fake gum stains on the back of them; no mention or listing on ebay of those this year. There will be 3-D's, minis, and other obvious stuff. Cardboard Connection is another site, and there are several others. Good luck..

Always liked the 68s and after reading this thread, I ran up to target and picked up two boxes. Hit one chrome (AJ Reed), one chrome ref (Daniel Murphy), a Yankees Team yellow back, three game cards (Stanton, Thompson, Healy) and 5 SPs (Posey, Arrieta, Bird, Pence, Reed).
Really like this set. I'll probably have to grab a few more of these.

So what do you guys think about these? I opened eight of those hanger packs at Target and noticed that the player's info box on top was yellow instead of white on six of the cards. Thought it was odd, but then kinda forgot about them.
A poster on Blowout finally mentioned that he had gotten approx 10-12 of them while ripping 5 cases, so I chimed in with mine.
Anyone else see anything like this?
"white box" on the left, "yellow box" on the right - they're pretty obvious in hand.
just a slight shade to the underlying card stock...every heritage year has these slight differences and i contend they are natural variations, not planned.
I went ahead and isolated the bottom two cards from each column. All the other yellow was making it harder to see...In this photo, you can see much more of the difference. The trivia question does appear to be more white than the name/info boxes...
You guys that opened a lot of product: check your dupes of the following numbers. If they're all the same (all have the yellowed player info box), then that would put the "this is a new variation" conspiracy theory to bed in a hurry!
Box 1 was a blast. My first hobby hot box. Only problem is next 2 are kinda set up for disappointment. Oh well. First impression...This years are much better than last. Set should be fun.

Jim, I have bought five blasters from target and they have all had two SP cards in them. Each of the blaster boxes also had a RC game card. I was also averaging one chrome/refractor card in each box as well. I didn't hit any relics or auto cards.
I didn't buy any of the hangers, so I don't know there.
Ya, about the same here, 2 SP's per blaster at both Wal-Mart and Target. The two hangers produced 1 SP each. All the gravity boxes have been fully searched, packs laying all over the place. Probably the same A$$hole hitting all the stores up in one day. Pathetic.

Quick question: I'll be at Target tomorrow. Anyone know which is popping more SPs, Blaster or Hanger?
Jim, I have bought five blasters from target and they have all had two SP cards in them. Each of the blaster boxes also had a RC game card. I was also averaging one chrome/refractor card in each box as well. I didn't hit any relics or auto cards.
I didn't buy any of the hangers, so I don't know there.
Ya, about the same here, 2 SP's per blaster at both Wal-Mart and Target. The two hangers produced 1 SP each. All the gravity boxes have been fully searched, packs laying all over the place. Probably the same A$$hole hitting all the stores up in one day. Pathetic.
To be honest, no direction, but...
