Hi Ho silver! Any away!!
Up $3.25 (+20%) in June alone.

Loves me some shiny!
If it breaks $20 we should see the return of new user/cheerleaders types who become the boards instant experts

My big trade will happen when it hits the 40 to 50 range, regardless of the actual per ounce price of silver.

instant expert - just add water
It would have made my day to feel that I actually made some money on silver!

Question is how long can it hold at this level?
I'm waiting for the inevitable correction. I hate to sound like a pessimist but I've seen too many of these quick run-ups that turn into a selling rout.

As the world sleeps.
I do have to say, the metals look fairly robust today!
I was at a B & M earlier around 11:30 and the nice lady said that they had way more sellers than buyers and that they were already tapped out on their cash supply.
My LCS owner is on vacation this week, I wanted to sell just a few of the Ase's that govmint.com was selling for $16.95.
It would have made my day to feel that I actually made some money on silver!
I could hardly give mine away on the BST at $2 over or less.

Ill have to decide at what price point I want to let mine go. Bought the bulk of it when it dipped briefly below $14/oz. It has slowly risen since then.

Yeah, that's the psychology of the thing....
For example, if bought when silver was $14, and got it for, let's say, $16 per, then wanting to sell when silver is $17 and trying to sell for $19 per, but can't.....then silver goes up to $19....do you sell for the price you wanted before?
Or, do you "stick to your guns" and "demand" the $2 premium and ask for $21?
I've been caught in this before and have watched it often.
Usually hear "replacement cost" as the reason. I view it as more a "I want to get more now that it has reason and I have a right to" type of thing.

Some of my neatest pieces came out at 40 dollar silver. Sure, I had to pay that and more for them, but that's when the good stuff comes out! It only takes a little more money to have really cool old bullion instead of basic mint pop out units.

Knowing when to sell is always harder then knowing when to buy

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Oops, double post.
There is a delete button for that!
Best time to sell is when you can make a profit. Consider PM's just another asset & treat it as such.
I only planned on selling two, just to make a point to myself.
(I never sell anything)

This is one of those rare moments that I've scored nicely. I bought about 200 ounces of silver between November and January.
Ah, but did you sell yet?
If not, and if silver heads down, will you sell right away, or will you hold on?

Very good point. No profit until you sell it higher. I strongly feel that I bought at the bottom and am hanging on for the long term.

I'm all for that.
I have been burned by holding out for a higher price, but I have also sold and then watched things continue to go up.
Last big silver run up, I sold at $20, $24, and $30.....and a little bit above $40.
I made money, so I am not crying, but I do think back and ask "WHY did I sell so low????"
