    Less than 2 years ago. It needs to break through $20 before I become excited again...BTW that also happened about 2 years ago.

    The floor is about $15. It's not like it's gone through the roof, although money is still dug up when the price goes up.

    The silver eagles with the W mint mark are selling real well now.

    I am thinking of pulling mine off eBay and holding them for the future.

    Excuse my silver eagle ignorance, but what does the 'W' mintmark add to the value?

    They are much more rare than the bullion pieces. They also are in a box with a cert of auth.

    There are so many million bullion silver eagles made that they are worth melt only whereas the "W" coins do carry a decent premium.

    Nonsense...no ASE is worth only melt. There is a build in premium above melt for all bullion ASE's. After all, the Mint does not sell them at melt to the authorized buyers. I'll buy all the bullion ASE's from you at melt + 10 cents. BTW.. silver just broke thru $19
