Yep, I want some one else to hold my gold for me. Especially in a place I can't touch it until I retire. Metal PM IRA is a dumb way to hold gold. Why not just trade gold related stocks in an IRA brokerage account where you can buy what you want when you want it, but more importantly you can sell when you want (convert to cash without withdrawing from the account). Same tax advantages, difference in who is in control.

IRA's have a life that way too long for gold to be held elsewhere. Get your hands on gold or buy the stock...don't let someone else's hands have access to it.

I don't need a gold IRA. A Nigerian Prince is helping me claim $21,000,000 as my share in repatriating a large sum that belonged to an oil businessman who had no heirs.

I guess you already saw that this might be our Nigerian Prince since the OP's listed country is Nigeria. LOL

    Good advice!
  • Don't forget to mention the price of the metals you purchase. Some gold IRA companies have very high profit margins.

My dealings with the Nigerian prince have been fruitful. He helped me open an account that I can link directly to my bank savings account and all of my retirement accounts electronically! This way, all of the funds can be moved at the touch of a button. He has been so helpful that I don't know how I can ever repay him.

All you have to do is pay BBB $400 and you can get an A+ rating.

Like others have said, PM IRA's are a scam. How many horror stories have we ward over the last few years of PM dealers goof belly up? How many of those outfits has repositories as well? I bet they charge a crazy fee on the gold you purchase and monthly "storage fees" compared to buying etfs or physical gold.

I think its amazing to have the option to invest in gold through your IRA.

Its a great way to diversify your portfolio and assets, to protect against the downside of the dollar.

Instead of investing in gold with money of pocket, you can use the resources you have already.

Only if done with a self managed IRA that invests in gold related ETFs and equities. Being able to get out of a position is more important than being able to get in.

My prince has taught me how to cash out all of the equity from my house and now I am helping his sister who has cancer and is imprisoned by a human trafficking ring in Somalia.

I will have the $21,000,000 from the deceased oil businessman's estate in just a few short months and I will be glad to share the money with my new friend.

In the meantime, I've been in contact with his other sister who is quite beautiful and wants to become a fashion model in Paris. And, I think she really likes me!!!!! I'm selling all of my coins so that I can help her succeed in her career, and I plan to meet her soon. Like, in about 10 years.

    Life now has new meaning.
