My 1st Classic Head $5! XF45 with a green bean. Thanks to all who guessed and commented! I usually prefer uncirculated coins but find this one to be quite nice! It also happens to be all I can afford if I want to purchase other coins.

I love the eagle eye.

I'm not sure if the strong reverse could bring it up to a 40.

A nice old 35, Very Nice.

I did take an in depth look, just have been trying to get a quick initial impression before studying too hard.

I'm not crazy about the light scratches but I see plenty of luster still.

My guess is XF 40.

I was thinking XF also, and love the look.
I think these coins and the 2.5 classics are a bargain for what they are.

I'd bump it to 45 for character, crust, and some peripheral luster still remaining. Though I've seen some old dirty gold graded as low as 35 with 50% luster.

I would say 40.... If it were mine, it would be 45...

xf45, very little wear on the reverse and modest wear on the obverse, 35 is too low.
