Are there any "well organized promotions" of US coins going on now?

We used to see threads about "well organized promotions". What happened to such things? Are any currently active?

The mint is hawking smoe gold quasi copies of popular US coins of 1916.

I'm thinking of promoting a few state quarter spoons I have lying around somewhere, once I find them.

"Well organized" is not in my vocabulary.

All seems quiet on the numismatic front lately.... even the gold 1916 release seemed very subdued compared to past events. Cheers, Ricko

Well organized promotions are a thing of the past. Nobody buys into that crap anymore, except the bullion collectors who hunt for the phony bologna MS70 graded stuff. Like that will ever hold its value in the long run. They keep doing it, though. Classic coins is only where its at, and I don't see any promo's there.
