1838-s $10 Liberty.....STILL CAN'T STOP LAUGHING

OK, now I've seen everything. This crook, deangelmarti1(0), has an 1838-s $10 coin listed on eBay, looks like it may be made of silver and eagles shield appears to say copy or something on it,,,,,,it has a bid of $500:

    You can definitely see something on the shield, his pictures are awful and it is hard to make anything out. Definitely appears to be silver or at least in color. Not sure you should be buying coins if you are willing to bid on this..

    It does seem a bit unusual that he has so many 1838 Capped Bust halves for sale. He must've spent his whole life collecting nothing but 1838 Capped Bust halves!

    Sadly it's only a matter of time before the crooks learn from their mistakes.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
