Man, post-1971 PSA 10 commons continue to take a beating. I picked this card up for $36 yesterday. It had consistently fetched between $200-250 from 2008-2013. That's a correction of 85%. Is this true across the board, or is it mostly cards that have seen their populations grow significantly in the last few years?

Definitely not true with 75 minis. Low pop PSA 10s are stronger than ever.

This is not exactly a low pop 10 now. How have the prices evolved for average population 10s in the 75 mini set?
Pop 10 is pretty high. For a 75 mini, I would say about $60. The premium is there if the card is tough. If there are 10 PSA 10s, that's fairly easy. Can't see any set from the 70s with much of a premium for a pop 10. HOFers and stars are another matter.

These threads are always fun to follow. Here is what I got in the mail today: A 1966 Topps Venezuela Mel Stottlemyre. It presents really nicely for a 3 and has a clean back. Coincidentally, the only other Venie I have at this time is also a Stottlemyre (1968).
I was inspired by John aka jmaciu to pick up this card for a HOF set - I wanted something nice that I could afford - and I'm sure for most of us a PSA 9 54T would be a bit our of reach.
Great pick-up's everyone. A ton of great stuff out there. I was able to pick up a 1973 BB un-cut 5th series sheet with not one but TWO Schmidt rookies. Where did I find it???? Craigslist of all places. Overall the sheet is really nice with no tears or paper loss. Both Schmidt's are really nice.
Some really incredible stuff showing up here! That Big O
I finally got some scans in of the last handful of visits to my LCShops.
The best stretch in a long time, I was able to pick up many clean raw cards of some major players.
Including a couple that I have been in search of for quite some time. Some "not so junk anymore" Fleer Basketball boxes, and 1981 Topps Football cellos and wax.
A handful of nice Jordans, a few vintage HOFers and snagged RC's of these guys: Ewing Star XRC, Montana, Bradshaw, Messier, Gretzky, Bird/Magic
I apologize for the large dusty scans, I was excited just to get them loaded....but these were atop the favorite acquisitions
Received this one today. I now have 53 different cards for my T-206 sub set of New York Players.

I didn't realize this was the same card. Time to bump that thread.
Mike - Pose looks the same, but did you notice that the uniform is different?

Also grabbed this Clemente. Altered or not, just loved the card.

Justin, beautiful cards. Where is that Clemente alerted?
An alarm just went off in my head because I was wondering the same thing!
And nice card Dave but I prefer BJ's over Kosco

Good question. Initially thought the crease might have been pressed. I'll take a closer look at it when I get back.
This came in recently also. Just loved the centering. Had to have it.

I like the portrait with red background - I'm sure it looks way better in hand.
That's one card I always procrastinated on along with the Mantle TFC.
Congratulations.
Beautiful Cards everyone!! Here are a couple that came in today's mail.
And the Brock is about as good as it gets.
Very nice pickups!
Very pleased to add this rookie to my collection. It has been some time since I have added a rookie card to my collection.

What a great find! I'm chartreuse with envy buddy. Two Schmidts!
Are you gonna get it framed?

Hiya Doug - the Doyle is a beauty - have it in a T3.
Appears to be the same pose? Bought one raw - and long story short traded it for 2 T3s - regret the trade to this day.
Does anyone remember the story of the "bump" this card got and it was obvious the card was trimmed? Was a Beckett graded card both times.
It's a nice card BTW.

Kyle - I meant this type card - not this specific one.
Mike - Pose looks the same, but did you notice that the uniform is different?

Hiya Doug
Sure did. But, the artwork and pose look the same - if not identical.
BTW, I forgot to say that the "Bombers" card you got is incredible for a 1!

The Ryan looks impressive - the rest ain't shabby either.
Nice pickups.
Love both the '53 Mantle and the T206 Matty dark cap. Both are two of my all time favorite cards. Well done. A couple recent pick ups for me.
