I may have posted this years ago?, but just in case check this out. I found it in my scrap pile and again I wasn't sure what it was for several minutes. 30.3 grams.

    Authentic pocket piece by the looks of it. Pure silver is fairly soft and in a pocket with other coins it would wear down like that. It would still take quite some time to do, though.

    A lot of time, with a very rough/active pocket life.



    I carry a silver norfed for a few years now, cash mainly user so I get change frequently. Barely noticeable wear from that outside of field nicks and nothing like the relief wear in that ASE at all.

    That would be my guess. It looks a little too rough for a pocket piece.
