Seriously? You post a thread suggesting the impropriety of the company who pays and funds this message board and wonder why they think that the thread should be removed. Thankfully it was also without malice and you are still here to post another day.

This is where I am unclear! I did not impugn PCGS, it's employees, or PCGS affiliates. I guess I technically could have caused the powers that be to invoke Rule 10. IMHO I simply asked a question about Registry Set participation.... I reached out to DW for clarification and to make sure I don't violate rules.... I am aware that he doesn't owe me any explanations, See Rule 1, but I would hope that we could ALL learn from other's wisdom/insight.

I know, I know, see Rule 1! This is not a democracy etcetera, but it is a place to advance the hobby. By definition, that promotes the interests of our host....

Rule 1) This is not a public forum. This is a PCGS forum paid for by PCGS and provided for PCGS customers to exchange information regarding collecting US coins. We make the rules this is not a democracy.

It's kinda funny that rule #1 above has been reposted because that's EXACTLY what he did.

what happened was they killed your thread because in they did not like the content. this is not a democracy. this is not the place to post anything that could even be considered anti-pcgs there are plenty of other websites that one can post a legitimate concern
regardless of how many posts I have, I don't consider myself an "expert" at anything

I'd have to give it some thought, this conflict of interest. But we are to believe that the graders have no idea who the coins they are grading belong to. I'm good with that because there are "the grading standards" that keep us all in line.

Fair enough! To be clear I did not intend to malign anyone or PCGS. I thought the original thread posed an honest question. Enough said. This thread shall drift into obscurity!

Actually, it was the chicken. It......crawled out of the ocean in some size, shape and form and eventually became one. But this doesn't bode well with why we still have monkeys, gorillas and apes if one believes everything has evolved from one thing to another. Personally, I think I'm evolving into a rock and will eventually end up in a box. Have I mentioned I've returned to my Indian artifacts collection?
