GTG - 4 Raw coins headed to PCGS soon GRADES POSTED

clarkbar04clarkbar04 Posts: 4,979 ✭✭✭✭✭
These 4 are headed to PCGS later this week. What do you think they will grade? I know, "hard to judge from pics".

1920-D PCGS MS64
Fantastic full obverse luster, (similar to the 1923 below) reverse is just a notch below the obverse in the luster department.
image

1923 - PCGS MS63 (?) a headlight. The spot in the field below the "Y" appears to be a die chip or rust spot, the camera accentuates it way more than it looks in person.
image

1942-S. PCGS MS64 great strike and fantastic luster. Only thing notable is the little graze above the motto.

image

1927 buffalo. PCGS MS66 Photo is to show the color, luster is fantastic and full.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Makes it tough when ya can't judge the luster.

You can sell me that Buff if ya wanna.

But, I find it incredibly hard to grade buff's from photos.

    Ms 64+ no FH
Ms 64 (at best) no FH
MS 64+ (the sun has taken some hits)
MS 63 (hits on legs jump out)

Is the toning just thin on the high spots on the buffalo? Cheek eyebrow, nose?

The Standers are both AU. The former because of a spec of wear on the drapery above Miss Liberty's lt. breast.

There is wear on the sash in the second one.

    Don't collect the others.

I sent in a lesser 42-S just to see what it would grade.. it got a 64.

*EDIT* the lesser one graded 62 = the one in the OP got a 64. I had 2 and switched the grades.
