NEWP! ... FIRST Carson City Dollar.

For SOME reason, the 70-CC dollar has been on my radar for a LONG time.
Finally I got one.
Happy with it. I was looking for one that didn't look all mushy.

CC dollars have never infected me.
Except one other.
Dunno why the seated one has stuck on my mind. Just being first I guess.

Congrats. Looks wholesome.
Straight from Bat Masterson's pocket.
The olive gray color and the old toned in marks on the right side from use in commerce and the strike all make this a great coin. The op's coin is tough this nice it takes a lot of searching to find a 70cc with a strike and wear pattern so even and perfect these are super low mintage and survival rate and well under the radar still.
I would like to see a really good image of both sides of this coin , it really is a great example.
to me the OP's coin epitomizes a great coin.

"Really good image" is a poser. Pls excuse the color difference.
This is a "kitchen table" pic.
Great looking CC dollar! I'm amazed that it somehow avoided the dip jar.
Disclaimer: I don't REALLY think it was in Bat Masterson's pocket all this time.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
