Numismatic Americana

YorkshiremanYorkshireman Posts: 4,583 ✭✭✭✭✭
Has anybody talked to or worked with Bill Shamhart of Numismatic Americana lately?
He was not at the FUN show. His website does not seem to have been changed in quite a while, at least that I can tell.
There are no future shows posted on the site either.
He is one of the nice guys in the business.

Perhaps Bill is taking a break from the coin biz.

I agree that Bill is one of the good guys. I always enjoyed my visits with him when he had a table at the St. Louis shows.

He goes by the screen name njcoincrank here.

Observed an unanswered message from a friend on his FB page on March 5. Sent a friend request myself.

I saw a couple of his medals (that are still currently on his site) in the February Stack's Bowers Rarities auction - neither of them sold.

I'm surprised there's been no update on njcoincrank since he's a regular at all show.

I see plenty of updates on the website, then again I'm mostly looking at exonumia.

Maybe TomB would know as they usually share a table together.
