Looks fake or real with really horrible pics. In any event I would pass especially with a feedback of 1.

With that info, NGC knows of fake coins in fake holders using that serial number. I reported, but I am not sure what ebay will do especially if they have a non coin guy following rules, and don't look into the real issue.
I messaged him saying it was fake and he was being reported, to which he responded "How do u figure. ? I bought these at a reputAble coin store report ur self add hole". His auction says he inherited the coin, now he says he purchased it, lol.
Both of your gold coin auctions are fakes. It is illegal to sell counterfeit US coins. Federal law against this and I would not want to go to jail for such a few bucks. So, I'll report to NGC and Ebay and let them inform the Secret Service. Good luck and be well.

I think that this is the same piece that has made the rounds before or its evil twin. The privious pictures were better, and I was able to get a half way decent close-up of it that shows that the piece is a counterfeit. The prongs on the counterfeit slab are too long.

I think he would look good in bright orange jump suit holding a big hammer that he could use to make big ones into small ones.
I'm going to buy coins from him ... Yea right.
It's interest to note that he has a 66.7% positive feedback rating. I don't mess with eBay very much, but that seems really low to me. Of course he's had only three feedback comments.

If ya gonna message a seller with comments he won't like, always make sure you do it from a buying account and not your selling account. No telling what extremes a pi$$ed seller will go to. Don't give him a shot at ruining your feedback or your defect rate.

Umm...you should have seen some of the coin dealers I have dealt with during the course of 5 decades. And some of the best-groomed, best-dressed guys were very practiced at picking your pocket.
That said, that coin is a blatant fake. The surfaces look strange, and I think there are blems here and there.

I agree with the previous post. Some of the guys who wear the coats and ties are the dealers who are ready to skin you if they can. Maybe I'm judging the book by its cover, but I tend to avoid those guys.

Strange lookup at NGC Website.
Why did seller post an NGC MS63 that looks like it's been Photoshopped in a negative light for comparison?
Feedback of one? No way!
Very weird listing.

Not to get all metaphysical on you, but I think in general they do.
