I recall the Sportzcubz get by you and some others as being a very rare item. Just curious if there was another "Holy Grail" you were looking for.

There are a few Topps test issues that I am looking for. Some, I will never even see like a 1961 Topps Dice Game Stan Musial. Here is my complete Topps want list.

2001 Topps Chrome Retrofractors Fernando Tatis (been looking for this for 8 or 9 years now)
Edited to say - On January 28th, 2017, I was able to finally acquire a 2001 Topps Chrome Retrofractors Fernando Tatis. That was one long search for a common card!
I just made a nice addition to my Topps Misc #3 Album. These may not seem like a big deal, but these are kind of hard to find. You either have to get lucky on Ebay or you have to bust open a factory set. In 2006 and 2007, Topps produced complete factory sets with team boxes. There were about 5 or 6 teams each year. In both years, they made a Cardinals themed factory box. In both years, the box stated "INCLUDES A PACK OF 5 UNIQUE ST. LOUIS CARDINALS CARDS EXCLUSIVE TO THIS SET!"
So, in order to get those 5 cards for each year, I had to buy a 2006 and 2007 Topps Factory Set with the Cardinals box. They are not very plentiful, but I got a good deal on them. I busted open the sets and put them in my album.
Not sure why they picked common players for 2007. I am a Pujols collector and I have never seen this 2006 Pujols before today. PSA has graded ZERO of this card. The Yankees themed factory sets must have been more plentiful because PSA has graded some of those....but no Cardinals.
There is one interesting thing about the 2007 set. Josh Hancock was killed in a car wreck 4/29/2007. This is the only Topps card Josh Hancock had in a Cardinals uniform. His card says "IN MEMORIAM 1978-2007" in a red stripe above his name.
I have some new items to update from existing albums I that I have uploaded. Of course, I still need to upload several albums from my collection....I just haven't had the time lately. But here are some additions to albums that have already been uploaded to this thread.
Also, as I side note, I will not be uploading the 2017 Topps base team set until Series 2 and the Update Series comes out later this year.
First of all, I have the 2017 Topps Factory Team Set. This set comes in a blister pack and has been an ongoing set since 2006.
Next, I was able to acquire a 1971 Topps wax box cutout of Bob Gibson. This item is a little bit different. Since this isn't listed in the SCD Catalog, this is sort of an unnecessary addition to my collection. For example, a 1986 Topps Box Bottom Vince Coleman and Willie McGee is listed in the SCD Catalog, so it would be necessary for my collection. However, I do have a couple of these unnecessary cutouts that I have added because I Just like them and they are so close to an actual card that I couldn't resist. There are a few other Cardinals players through the years that could probably be included, but I have not researched it enough to know what I am missing. I would put this Bob Gibson in the same category as the 1969 Topps wax box cutout disc of Bob Gibson that I already have. There is one that I still would like to get....a Topps wax box cutout disc of Stan Musial. I am not certain of the year...I think it is 1964, but not sure. Anyway, here is the 1971 Topps wax box cutout of Bob Gibson.
As a side note, this picture appears to be the same one as the 1971 Topps Supers Bob Gibson.
Finally, this team set will go into my Topps Odd Sized Album. This is a 2016 Topps Anthology team set featuring 5"x7" reproductions of 4 standout Topps Cardinals cards - 1959 Topps Gibson, 1998 Topps McGwire, 2003 Topps Pujols, and 2004 Topps Molina.
All of these pictures are updated in the correct spot as well.
Frank .................Just revisiting this thread again and I'm constantly amazed at the scope and
dedication of your collection ! Inserts are one of my favorite collectibles !

Wow, just viewing this thread now, nice collection Shane! Really good organization of the binders, etc.
