Yet the surfaces look incredible for a 70-cc that a "net" upgrade to XF40 would be quite reasonable. This is probably nicer overall than most slabbed XF40's. This is a date where I'd value surfaces a lot higher than normal...enough where it can overcome a little less detail.
I would rather see it in hand to really look at the fields. Based on the pattern of wear, 35 seems the most likely grade. I would consider a 40 if there is lustre

I'd like to know what others found wrong with the "shield." I didn't see anything there.
I think the photo gives the impression that the outline of the shield blends with the skirt and rock, and possibly LIBERTY is weak on the outside letters.
