some newP Buffs: 26-D, 28-P and 28-D

It is always exciting when you stumble across a seller that has a more or less complete set of what you collect and it appears the prior owner had a pretty decent eye. I recently came across such a scenario, so I share three NewPs from the very end of last year. A Merry Christmas to me of sorts. Feel free to comment and take a stab at the grades.
First up is a 1928-D. Stunning color, 66 looking luster, and clean surfaces; the strike and some carbon spots I figure account for the actual grade.

Next is a 26-D with a stunning strike, and in a curious turn of events for this issue, the reverse die state appears better than the obverse, as the obverse has a number of die cracks not readily apparent from my image. My one area of concern is on the reverse rim around seven o’clock and at the tip of the buffalo’s head and whether those represent actual damage.

Finally, here is what was actually my first purchase from the set: a 28-P that has been surprisingly difficult to find. Lacks either the color or the freaky strike of the other two, I figured this was just nice and solid for the grade.
