In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Can't compare to Cardinal, but I may have searched just as hard to find these guys. Lovely coins everyone. The two large cents fresh back from CAC as well with green badges. So tough on early copper.

Congrats! Attractive 1823 Cents are very difficult to find in any grade above VF!!

While not natives, these immigrant half-cents had legal status back in the day of early copper --

But I'm reluctant to have it reholdered as this coin is the first Wreath coin with lettered edge that was certified as mint state.

Some day I won't be able to resist.

Technically not 'early copper' per se, but the earliest copper I have with some mint color - thank you, Mr. Randall!
